About
April S. Benson
April joined Holman Cahill PLLC in 2023 and focuses her practice on amicable/collaborative family law: divorce, parentage, and guardianships. Her office is in North Seattle, but the nature of her practice (and the convenience of Zoom) often allows her to take clients throughout the State of Washington.
April’s practice emphasizes respectful dispute resolution and finding creative ways for clients to meet their goals outside of litigation. She has a background in appeals, administrative law, and general civil litigation, having begun her legal career as a law clerk with two state courts and then as an assistant attorney general for the State of Washington. She is a thoughtful, practical, and caring professional who works to support her clients’ overall well-being.
April and her husband have two young children and live in Phinney Ridge. Their family enjoys many kinds of creative pursuits, staying active, getting outside, and participating in social justice and church activities.
